Back in those days it was a hole lot different. people used tu use it as an airport for seaplanes.
Present
It is cool having a an airbase so we can see the planes. And they are pretty big.
Future
I think that we won't need an airforce any more because theres going to be peace in the world.But the auckland councle is thinking about making it into a commercial airport use. And it will be a nice change.
